AN EPIC FAMILY BEACH RETREAT
At Our Epic Project
we know the value of a family vacation extends well beyond the number of days spent. Taking a family vacation can reduce stress, increase serotonin levels, promote rest and provide an opportunity for families to disconnect from the day to day and reconnect with each other.
Being able to take advantage of a much needed vacation retreat without the added stress of financial burden is where Our EPIC Project steps in. ​Together with our friends and local business community we are excited to share all that our communities have to offer. Beginning with a one week rental, we'll make sure our deserving family has a great home-base for their vacation retreat. From there we'll put together a great itinerary of activities, amenities and experiences that will make this an EPIC week to remember. ​

2025 EPIC Summer Vacation Family Retreat
This year we are dedicating our EPIC Family Vacation Retreat (s) to deserving First Responders (law enforcement, fire service, and emergency medical service providers) and their families. From the devastation of the flooding in Western NC to the raging fires in California, we are reminded of the brave, heroic and often unsung efforts of our first responders. Every day first responders across the country provide our communities with the much needed services to keep us safe and protected. While meeting the needs of the community our First Responders often observe, witness, and handle incredibly traumatic events. The accumulation over days, weeks, months, and years have lasting impacts on the first responders themselves, and they often carry this back to their families. So not only is the first responder impacted but so are their families.
We are here to offer a respite to not only the First Responder but the whole family. A week of rest, relaxation and ​good old fashioned family beach fun are in store for this years recipients. Due to the generosity of some great friends in Oak Island NC- we will be able to host 2 EPIC vacation retreats:
