We will explore this rare ecological community where a coastal pond and southern swamp forest mingle. The hike is about 10 miles of flat terrain around the 200 year old pond and Lassiter Swamp.

About the event
We will meet at the South end of the Food Lion parking lot in Southern Shores and carpool together to the park. Lunch will follow the hike In Elizabeth City.
